Lincoln City are inviting applications for a groundsperson to join the team.
The groundsperson will play a key role in maintaining and preparing high-quality playing surfaces at both the LNER Stadium and the club’s training facilities. You will help ensure safe, consistent, and visually appealing surfaces that support elite performance and meet the standards of the EFL and relevant football authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the maintenance and preparation of all pitches and training areas.
- Carry out grass cutting, line marking, fertilising, and general turf care.
- Set up and take down matchday equipment as required.
- Ensure machinery and equipment are maintained and used safely.
- Support with pitch renovation and drainage projects as needed.
- Work matchdays and occasional weekends or evenings, as required.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a groundskeeping or turf management role.
- A strong work ethic with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and matchdays.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- NVQ Level 2 or higher in Sports Turf Maintenance or equivalent.
- PA1, PA2, and PA6 spraying certificates.
- Knowledge of stadium pitch regulations and health and safety procedures.
