City will pay tribute to Dave Smith before Saturday 8 October’s fixture against Charlton Athletic at the LNER Stadium.
The club was saddened to learn of the passing of the legendary City player last month and will honour his life this weekend.
Players and staff at City will wear black armbands as a mark of respect, with Imps fans encouraged to wear retro shirts and fake moustaches on Saturday.
The front of the ‘We are Imps’ programme will be dedicated to Smith who has been artistically drawn by club partner Imptoons.
We kindly ask supporters to arrive at their seats slightly earlier than usual to also join in with the minutes applause before kick-off.
