BTEC students from Lincoln City Foundation tested out the updated Lincoln Water Park ahead of the start of their exam season.

Lincoln Water Park recently became a gold partner of the club and invited our BTEC students to test their strength and skills against what is believed to be the world’s biggest Hydroclimb feature and new obstacles which have been added to the existing waterpark area.

Jasmine Craft, employability manager at Lincoln City Foundation, said: “It’s really good fun for everyone and for us as staff as well, it’s a good opportunity to bond with the students and hopefully have a staff day out as well!

“It’s been really beneficial for our students with the exam stress they have going on over the next few weeks. They have been in exam conditions in the class as well, so it’s been great to see them socialise with their friends and have some fun and it’s great for the mental wellbeing.”

Throughout the course obstacles are colour co-ordinated based on difficulty, meaning people of all ages can take on easy, medium or hard tasks suited to your ability or confidence levels.

It will be open every weekend from now until the summer holidays, when it will then open daily.

Suzi Nightingale, co-founder at Lincoln Water Park, said: “It’s awesome to see people trying out and enjoying the Hydroclimb. It’s been a long time coming and good to see our hard work finally coming to fruition.

“We would like to say a special thank you to Lincolnshire County Council for having the confidence to invest in us, by awarding us one of the Invest for the Future Grants, which meant we were able to bring this amazing facility to Lincoln. We’re confident of it being a success and have good hopes that people will turn out in numbers and have fun using our facilities.”

You can book your place at Lincoln Water Park by visiting the website, with each activity (the Aqua Park and the Water Warrior Hydroclimb) costing £17.50 per person or £30 for both.
