The Imps suffered a frustrating last-minute defeat to Cambridge United thanks to Joe Ironside's stoppage-time goal.
The Imps created chances during the game but were unable to convert them, and were hit by Ironside's sucker-punch during time added on.
The manner of the defeat meant it was hard to take, but the haul of six points from the opening three games of 2022 is one all connected with the Imps can look back on with pride.
