Matchday guide: AFC Wimbledon (H)

18 October 2021

Sponsored by

Ahead of the Sky Bet League One fixture with AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday, we are able to provide supporters with a guide to plan your visit to the LNER Stadium.

Match theme

The match is dedicated to Kick It Out, English football’s equality and inclusion organisation. Working throughout the football, educational and community sectors to challenge discrimination, encourage inclusive practices and campaign for positive change, Kick It Out is at the heart of the fight against discrimination for everyone who plays, watches or works in football.

University of Lincoln Fan Village

A variety of different food options will be available for supporters from 5pm. Sausage Grill, Curry Jacks, Love Coffee, the Yellowbelly Sausage Company and the Barbell Burger Co will all be present supplying their locally-sourced delights.

Lincoln City Foundation will be running events for our younger fans, while Tension Twisted Realities will be present with their virtual reality headsets sets. The Red Imps Community Trust will have their stall including old programmes for sale, with the Former Players Association interviewing former players.

Elite Pro Sports will have a new pop-up shop where supporters can get themselves kitted out in the latest club merchandise.

A variety of alcoholic and soft drinks are available.

Food court

There is a brand new food court outside the Selenity Stand which is also available at half-time. Hot drinks are now available.

Tickets

Tickets can be purchased from the ticket office before the match but we strongly reccomend purchasing online at eticketing.co.uk/imps.

Season members can use their e-tickets or season cards. Anyone who has not received their card is asked to contact tickets@theredimps.com as early as possible so an access card can be printed out for collection via the ticket office.

Gold and Gold+ Members who utilise our e-ticket option may have seen their card disappear from their Apple Wallet following an update to iOS 15. To fix this issue, select Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > Hide Expired Passes. Following this process, your digital season card will reappear in your Apple Wallet.

Travelling supporters can purchase tickets in the away end - these must be bought from the ticket office before the game.

Travel

Please note there are roadworks on High Street which may cause congestion, with no right turn available onto Scorer Street if travelling north. Please allow extra time for your journey if driving in that area.

There are a number of new parking options for supporters attending games at the LNER Stadium this season - click here for details.

Tentercroft St (380); Lucy Tower (420); Chaplin Street (45) (midweek fixture offer)

Audio descriptive commentary

The Imps provide a free audio descriptive commentary service for fans with visual impairments. Headsets and receivers can be collected from the ticket office before the game (from the SLO point 12noon-2pm, then from the ticket office desks). Fans are encouraged to bring their own headphones where possible to minimise the amount of equipment needed to be shared - the receivers have a standard aux output.
