Brennan Johnson has been nominated for December’s Sky Bet League One award following an impressive run, which helped the Imps reach the top of the table.
Johnson’s fine form began in the match against Northampton Town on the 19th December, where he assisted Anthony Scully inside the opening minute. He followed this up with two goals later in the match, which saw the Imps go onto win 4-0.
The following week, Brennan notched another two goals for the Imps, including an assist as City won 5-1 on Boxing Day against Burton Albion.
Chosen by the EFL's panel, Brennan will find out whether has won the award later in the week.
