We are pleased to announce that BBC Radio Lincolnshire will be providing full commentary of all The Imps’ League and Cup games over the course of the 2020/21 season, on radio, DAB and of course providing the audio for match pass viewers on We Are Imps iFollow.
It will be the 22nd consecutive year that the local BBC station will have covered City’s games, commentating on over a thousand games in the process.
The BBC Radio Lincolnshire sport commentary team will begin this season’s coverage of The Imps as we head over to The Alexandra Stadium to take on Crewe Alexandra in the First Round of the Carabao Cup on Saturday afternoon. So Imps supporters watching on We Are Imps iFollow as well as listeners on radio won’t miss a moment of the action over the course of the campaign brought to life by Michael Hortin, Rob Makepeace and former City manager and player, Steve Thompson.
The Imps’ Chief Executive Liam Scully added: ‘We are pleased to be able to partner with BBC Radio Lincolnshire yet again to continue to bring their output to the club’s iFollow platform and on the radio. It enhances the supporters experience on a matchday, be it live from LNER Stadium or around the country following The Imps.”
