Imps defender TJ Eyoma was delighted with the result, as he started his 13th game in a City shirt this season.
“It was a good win for the boys, and we want to keep working hard as a group to pick up more points, it is still early days in the season.
“The second half was different to the first, it was a different type of game. We had to dig deep and work hard to get the three points and that is what we did.
“We can go home pleased with the result.”

“We have a real togetherness at the club, we are all working for each other and working hard to get the results.
“We are now top of the table, but we will look to get the result in the week, that is our main focus because they are a tough side.
