2 July 2020

Sponsored by

Following the curtailment of the 2019/20 Sky Bet League One season, Lincoln City Football Club provided fans the opportunity to claim a refund of the balance on their Season Ticket or alternatively to convert the balance to individual shares in the Club either in their own name, or in the name of the Lincoln City Supporters Society Limited (trading as Red Imps Community Trust).

We have received responses from 90% of Season Ticket holders to date. To coincide with the financial year end, 30th June 2020, Lincoln City Football Club Company Limited have filed an interim update with Companies House containing the following information:

  • 504,257 shares have been purchased in the name of individuals who have opted to take shares rather than a refund;
  • 64,932 shares have been issued in the name of the Lincoln City Supporters Society Limited from those who have opted to donate their refund to the Supporters Trust to increase their overall stake in the Club to 1.0%. The Trust holds a further 7.1% of Lincoln City Holdings.

In addition to the above a further 600,000 shares have been issued to Lincoln City Holdings following an injection of £300,000 into the club.

Therefore, as of the 30th June 2020, the ownership disclosure as required by EFL regulation 109, is as follows:

Lincoln City Holdings Ltd owns 76.6% of the issued share capital of the Club.

Sportvest Capital LLP owns 49.9% of Lincoln City Holdings Ltd. Sportvest Capital LLP is owned by three individuals – Clive Nates, Sean Melnick and Ashley Mendelowitz.

Clive Nates holds a further 3.2% directly in Lincoln City Holdings.

We thank you once again for your continuing support.
