Imps left-back Harry Toffolo set a 21st century outfield player record as he made his 66th consecutive league appearance.

Toffolo, who arrived in the summer of 2018, has appeared in every league game since his arrival, which takes him past Paul Morgan's record of 65 consecutive appearances.

This century, goalkeepers Alan Marriott (140 and 94), Rob Burch (92) and Paul Farman (71) have more consecutive EFL appearances for the Imps.

Paul Morgan made 65 consecutive appearances between 14th December, 2002 and 27th March 2004, before missing a 0-0 draw at Macclesfield Town on March 30th, 2004.

The all-time record is held by George Whyte, who made 183 consecutive league appearances for the Imps, scoring 17 times between March, 1934 and September, 1938.

The post-war record is held by Marriott, while the post-war outfield record for consecutive league appearances is held by Phil Hubbard, who made 122 appearances, scoring 26 times between December, 1968 and September, 1972.
