This weekend there are no trains between Retford, Newark and Peterborough whilst Network Rail carry out essential upgrade work in the Newark area, which could affect some supporters travelling to Doncaster this weekend to see The Imps in action against Doncaster Rovers at the Keepmoat Stadium.
Supporters are able to access train services between Retford and Doncaster, however, with the closure of services from Newark to Doncaster we are advised by LNER that the services from Retford will be extremely busy as a consequence.
For any supporters who are heading to the Keepmoat Stadium this weekend, due to the works on the train network, to avoid any delays in getting to South Yorkshire ahead of kick off (12.30PM), it would be advisable to utilise other transport methods if possible.
