This afternoon students from Sir Robert Pattinson Academy met Danny and Nicky Cowley and the City playing squad as they prepared to head off to Portugal on a five-day trip to Portuguese giants, FC Porto.
Students from years eight, nine and ten, looked on and watched The Imps’ squad prepare for the SkyBet League Two clash with Exeter City on Good Friday before they leave for the tournament later this week.
The management team and members of the Imps’ playing squad took time to sign autographs and take photos with the youngsters following the session held at the Academy. It’s just one of a number of facilities which we are proud to be partnered with across the City and express our thanks for their support, along with club sponsors Selenity who have supplied the kit for the youngsters to wear on their trip to visit the home of the ‘Blue and Whites’.
