We are pleased to announce that West Lindsey District Council has this morning granted formal planning permission for Lincoln City Football Club to begin work on the new Elite Performance Centre close to RAF Scampton.

Lincoln City Football Club, would like to thank West Lindsey District Council for their assistance and support throughout the process, which has ensured that the development of the site can now get underway.

Darren Curtis, Head of Stadium and Operations “We are pleased to have reached this stage of the project and I would like to thank West Lindsey District Council and their Planning and Development Manager, Oliver Fytche-Taylor, for their support on behalf of the Football Club and we now look forward to seeing things taking shape over the coming weeks and months.”

The £1.3million development will be based on a 12.3-acre site on Heath Lane and is a vital development in order sustain the continued and rapid progression of The Club both for its current and future stars.

The new Elite Performance Centre will boast three state of the art grass pitches, gymnasium, changing rooms and staff offices, with the building work being undertaken by Njord Design and Build of Saxilby.

Steve Jones, Managing Director of Njord said he is excited to get things underway.

‘We at Njord are extremely proud to be involved in such a landmark project for the club in a full design and build capacity. We can now look forward to making a start on the project. These are exciting times for both the club and our company, and the finished product will reflect the aspirations of both parties.”
