Nathan Arnold has joined National League North side, Salford City on loan. The 30 year old who has featured 24 times for the Imps this campaign links The Ammies in a temporary switch until the end of the season.
Arnold leaves Sincil Bank for the Peninsula Stadium and goes with the best wishes of his manager, Danny Cowley who understands why the winger has decided to make the move.
“Nathan has been brilliant for us, brilliant as a player and as a person. He played a massive part in the success we had last year. We certainly wouldn’t be in the position we’re in without his wonderful contribution.
"He’s someone who has been a pleasure to manage, he’s a unique individual and he’ll be missed by us all. We’ve had a good conversation and we thought maybe it would be the best to let him go out and get some games.
“There were numerous clubs interested in his services and we spoke, I wanted him to fight for his place but I understand his decision. He’s joining a club with huge ambition and I can understand why he’d be enticed by it.”
