Manager Danny Cowley was pleased with the opening friendly of pre-season as he watched his squad secure a 4-0 success at Lincoln United.
"The first pre-season game is all about getting some minutes in and it was a good start for us," said Cowley following the win at Ashby Avenue.
"I was pleased with our physical condition and also our team organisation. What was really pleasing was that we were able to do that throughout the whole 90 minutes.
"A lot of hard work is still to be done though and we're still five or six players short of where we want to be. We'll keep working hard on recruitment to try and make that happen."
