The Imps have been drawn against Mansfield and Notts County in the Checkatrade Trophy this season, with the Category One side still to be announced.
Danny Cowley's men have been drawn into Group G of the Northern Section against their fellow Sky Bet League Two opponents.
The Category One side will be drawn into the group on Wednesday July, 12 at 3pm.
City could also face one of the following:
- Everton
- Leicester City
- Manchester City
- Middlesbrough
- Sunderland
- Newcastle United
- Stoke City
- West Bromwich Albion
Once these sides have been drawn into their groups, the fixtures will soon follow.
