Our Under 21s played their second Lincolnshire FA Development League fixture on Monday evening.

There was a real feel of autumn in the air at Lincoln Moorlands's Newark Road ground for the Imps U21 fixture versus Collingham.

City were in front on 16 minutes after being awarded a free kick some 25 yards out from goal, Terry Hawkridge stood over the ball and then fired in to find the corner of the net with the keeper routed to the spot.

Imps keeper Roughton drafted in from Mansfield Town made a couple of decent saves to deny Collingham, the Imps created a few chances but with the Collingham keeper also saving well on a few occasions the lead wasn't extended so at the half time whistle it was Hawkridge's strike which separated the teams.

Just before the hour mark Collingham were level when a break down the Imps left resulted in a cross to the far post and the oncoming striker turned home to equalise.

With just under 10 minutes remaining Hawkridge added his second of the night, driving into the box down the right his shot across the keeper found the corner to put the Imps in front.

Into the final five minutes, an Alan Power shot was too hot for the keeper to handle and he could only parry into the path of the oncoming Theo Robinson who squeezed the ball home for a 3 - 1 lead.

Into the second minute of added time Power got his name on the score sheet when he drilled the ball home from the edge of the box.

Team: Roughton, Fixter, Mathers, Moyses, Andersen, Weatherell, Burdett, Power, McMenemy, Robinson, Hawkridge.
Subs: O'Hare, Thompson, Robinson-Jones, Horton
