The 2016 Keith Alexander Memorial Tournament has kindly been sponsored by Dixon Street Carpet Centre
The Keith Alexander Memorial Tournament has become a regular fixture in the Lincoln City Youth Academy calendar and this year’s two-day event will be the biggest in the tournament’s six year history.We are also delighted to announce that Dixon Street Carpet Centre will be the main tournament sponsor, while medals and trophies are once again being generously provided by the Prison Officers’ Association and Leeds United Supporters Club.
The 2016 event will take place over the weekend of Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th July at Ruston Sports & Social Club and will see over 70 junior teams from Under 11 to Under 16 taking part.
Among this year’s entries are a host of academies including Hull City, Peterborough United, Scunthorpe United, Grimsby Town, Doncaster Rovers and Chesterfield, as well some local junior teams and of course Lincoln City.
They will all be seeking to emulate the success of last year’s winners - Leeds United Supporters Club (U12), Hull City (U14) and Peterborough United (U16) respectively. Plus, for the first time teams at U11, U13 and U15 will be taking part too.
Admission is free and supporters are welcome to come along and enjoy this celebration of youth football in memory of Keith Alexander.
