We are pleased to announce that Alex Simmons and Kegan Everington have today put pen-to-paper on professional contracts.
The Lincoln-born duo, part of the Midland Youth Cup winning squad who made their first team debuts last season, have signed one-year contracts which will commence on July 1st.
The son of former City striker Tony Simmons, Alex has been a regular goal-getter for the youth team over the past couple of years and continued this form last season whilst on a work experience loan at Lincoln United, scoring twice on his full debut for the club.
He was drafted in to the first team squad for the New Year’s Day 2014 local derby at Grimsby Town alongside Kegan, a tall midfielder, who marked his debut as a substitute in the 1-1 draw at Blundell Park. Alex's Conference bow came in the 2-0 win at Braintree Town in March.
