The first team squad were put through their paces by members of Bracebridge Boxing Club on Tuesday.
Having accepted an invite from the Lincoln-based boxing club, Chris Moyses took the opportunity to have a change in the training regime with the squad certainly given a good work out in the ring.
It was also a good chance for the players to get involved and interact with members of the local community which is something the management team are keen to do more of.
"The lads thoroughly enjoyed their time with the Bracebridge lads and it was good to see everyone enjoying themselves whilst at the same time having a good work out," said Moyses.
"A big thanks to Casey and the guys at the boxing club for the invite and we look forward to repaying the favour some time on the football field!
"Our team is more than just the players who go out there on a Saturday afternoon which is why visits to clubs, schools, presentation nights, etc are vitally important. Everyone has a part to play so it's important we do our best to bring people closer together."
