Supporters are advised that voting slips for the 2013/14 Player of the Season are available from the Ticket Office, Club Shop and bars at the Stadium.
The annual Player of the Season award has been run by the Lincoln & District Football Supporters Club since the 1969/70 season and all completed voting slips need to be returned to LCFC by Saturday 19 April 2014.
The winner of the Vic Withers Memorial Trophy will be announced at the Barnet game on Saturday 26 April 2014.
Lincoln & District Football Supporters Club would also like to inform supporters of the sad passing of Charlie Hippey, a dedicated supporter of the Imps who over the years raised thousands of pounds for the Football Club.
Working as an engineer at Morrells Canning Factory at Bardney, Charlie enrolled most of its employees as members of the Club’s Lottery. In addition he, on a regular basis, would sell as many as 200 to 300 Imps lottery tickets each week.
On his retirement in 1994, Charlie then continued his fund raising by visiting his members in their homes. This continued until recently when serious illness made it impossible for him to continue his excellent work for the Imps.
