Nat Brown has rejoined the Imps for 2013/14

Gary Simpson has further strengthened his Squad by securing the services of the highly experience Nat Brown for the 2013/14 campaign

Brown, who made 107 League and cup appearances for the Imps between 2005 and 2008, has rejoined the Imps, penning a deal for Season 2013/14. Nat enjoyed a successful loan spell from Macclesfield Town towards the end of last season, helping the Imps secure their Football Conference Premier Status.

Brown initially joined the Imps from Huddersfield Town in the summer of 2005, having worked his way through the youth system at the Yorkshire side. He played in a number of positions, before settling in a central defensive role, and went on to make over 80 appearances for the Terriers, including over 50 starts in the Football League.

He was a regular in the City side until a wrist injury sustained towards the end of the 2005/06 season and required surgery during the summer break, forced him to miss the first 13 matches of the following campaign.

His final Football League outing in an Imps' shirt came at Peterborough United in March 2008 and following his departure from Sincil Bank he had a brief spell at Wrexham before linking up with Keith Alexander and Gary Simpson at Macclesfield.
