After viewing video footage of the incident that led to Jake Sheridan's sending off against Dartford on Saturday, the Club have decided to lodge an appeal to the Football Association.
Sheridan was dismissed by referee Ross Joyce during the first half of the 2-1 Blue Square Bet Premier win at The 12th Imp Sincil Bank Stadium, with the official deeming that his challenge on Lee Noble was worthy of a straight red card.
Sheridan faces a three-match ban should the Club's appeal not be successful.
