SUSU Community Open Day

6 August 2012

Sponsored by

It was a busy day for the Lincoln City FC Sport & Education Trust's Stand Up Speak Up project on Saturday 28th July.

First of all six Stand Up Speak Up (SUSU) pupils who take part in the social inclusion project within schools, met anager David Holdsworth and the players to hand them a SUSU T-shirt, so the players could warm up in them.

Then there was time for photo shoot on the pitch where all the players and coaching staff got together and after this the children were treated to a tour of the stadium and got to see how the Club operates on match days.

Also as part of the project SUSU has a free Saturday club where children are invited to come down and take part in free football sessions. Twenty of these children were given free tickets to see the Imps take on Gainsborough Trinity, and also play in a fantastic half-time game on the pitch.
