Keith Alexander Memorial Tournament

16 August 2012

Sponsored by

The Keith Alexander Memorial Tournament takes place this weekend on the Sincil Bank 3G Pitch.

With Rotherham United stepping in late in the day to replace Corby Town who were unable to take part the two groups are now as follows:

Group A - Hull City, Boston United, Lincoln City and Scunthorpe United

Group B - Peterborough United, Rotherham United, Grimsby Town and Nottingham Forest.

The groups will be the same for both Saturday’s Under 14 and Sunday’s Under 16 competitions.

The competition commences at 10.00am each day and is being jointly organised by the Club’s Youth Development Association and the Lincoln City Supporters Trust.

There is no admission cost and supporters of all the clubs are welcome to come down to Sincil Bank to watch the tournament. There will be a BBQ and the Trust Suite will be open throughout the day. Entertainment during the lunch breaks will be from young Lincolnshire rock band The Substitutes.

If that isn’t enough the raffle is worth getting down to Sincil Bank for on its own with champagne, whiskey, wine, hampers and signed Lincoln City items amongst a host of prizes.  The draw will take place during the lunch break each day.

The Football Club’s Youth Academy would like to thank Bookers Wholesale (Lincoln), SportSmart Consulting, Chris Vaughan Photography, Raw Power Prosound Limited and former City chairman Rob Bradley for their sponsorship and support of the tournament.
