A former Premier League defender with Blackpool, Neal Eardley won Lincoln’s 2017/18 Player of the Season award after joining the club in 2017 following a brief spell with Northampton. 

The 30-year-old started his career with Oldham Athletic where he made over 100 appearances before departing Boundary park for Blackpool. Eardley made 33 appearances during the 2010/11 season and netted once in the Premier League, a free-kick away at Everton. 

Once his contract expired at Blackpool in the summer of 2013, Neal signed for Birmingham City on a three-year deal. After spending time at St Andrews with the Blues, Eardley linked up with Neil Lennon at Hibernian for a short spell, before spending one season with Northampton Town.

The right-back who is a former Wales international made 47 appearances in all competitions City last season, scoring two goals including an impressive free-kick against Cambridge United and he rounded out the season by winning the 18/19 Imps' Player's Player of the Year award.
