First Visit to LNER Stadium?

LNER Stadium was built in 1895 and is one of the most historic stadiums within the UK, easily accessible from the North, South, East and west with major routes close to the outskirts of the City.

The postcode to get to LNER Stadium is LN5 8LD, however parking around the stadium is limited due to LNER Stadium being within a residential area. There are a host of matchday parking options within the City, but the closest available on a matchday is at the South Common (LN5 8LN) or if you fancy a longer stay within the City, the Lincoln Central Car Park is available all day (LN5 7BP) and it’s close to the City’s train station.

Lincoln Central Train Station is on the LNER, East Coast, East Midlands and Northern Train routes, the stadium is only a 15-minute walk from the station.

The Stadium

LNER Stadium currently has a capacity of 10,067 seats, it became all seater at the start of the 1999/2000 season.

Home supporters are housed in the Coop Stand, Selenity Stand, University of Lincoln stand and the Bridge McFarland Stand, which is also the designated family stand.

Away supporters will be housed in the Stacey West stand however this is dependant on visiting numbers, from time to time Lincoln City will utilise the areas in accordance with expected travelling support.  On the occasions the visiting supporters will be housed in the University of Lincoln stand together with a number of blocks in the Bridge McFarland stand.

The Coop Stand is the largest stand at LNER Stadium, housing over 5,000 supporters, This stand also houses the Legend’s Lounge, the newest hospitality area at LNER stadium, supporters choosing this area will be located in the upper tier block 2 of this stand.

The Selenity Stand – you can find the ticket office, club shop within this stand and the dugouts are directly in front of this stand. The Directors Box and The 1884 Lounge may be access via an entrance which faces onto the 3G pitches.  The Selenity stand holds just under 1500 seats. 

The Bridge McFarland stand holds just under 700 seats for supporters, above this stand are the hospitality boxes.  Within this stand are two hospitality lounges one which is available to patrons of the hospitality boxes (Travis Perkins Executive Lounge) and the other is available to general support (Travis Perkins Suite) home and away supporters are welcome in this lounge on match days. During the week all our lounges and hospitality boxes are available for private room hire.

Situated behind this stand on matchdays is the University of Lincoln Fanzone, where there are a host of activities for all the family, you will find various food offerings as well as interviews with former players, music and other activities. The University of Lincoln Fanzone opens at 12pm on Saturdays(kick off 3pm).

Stacey West Stand, this stand has seats for around 1,800 supporters. Dependant on travelling supporter home and away supporters may be house in this area.

The turnstiles into all stands open on Saturday matchdays (kick off 3pm) at 1.30pm, on an evening (kick off 7.45pm) the turnstiles will open at 6.30pm.

Lincoln City FC is committed to ensuring that all supporters have an enjoyable experience and visit to LNER Stadium.

The club has a number of wheelchair bays for home supporters in the Bridge McFarland stand, and for visiting supporters in front of the Stacey West Stand.

Visiting supporters are offered an allocation of tickets and any queries should be directed to the visiting Club's ticket office ahead of the day of the game.

In order to qualify for a carers ticket FOC the disabled supporter must be in receipt of Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or enhanced rate of Personal Independence Payment (PIP).  The disabled supporters will receive a discounted rate (concession) if they are in receipt of medium – high rate of DLA or and rate of PIP.  Junior disabled supporter qualify with low – high rate of DLA or any rate of PIP.

To purchase tickets in the Bridge McFarland Family Stand please complete one of the following processes:

  1. Become a Junior Imps Club Member for full details on membership click the following link– - Membership is £10.00 per year and you will be required to complete an application form and await your membership to be approved.
  2. For individual game / one off purchases please visit or call the ticket office on 01522 880011 where a member of staff will assist you in purchasing your tickets.

To purchase tickets in the family area there must be at least one person under the age of 18. This will be checked at the point of purchase. Any online ticket sales through the Junior Imps Club will be checked and any order that does not comply with the terms and conditions will be cancelled.

Stand and seat details are clearly stated on every ticket purchased. Note for away fans if the seating is unreserved, the ticket purely states Visitors and there are no seat details.

The club store at LNER Stadium is situated at the back of the Selenity stand, inside it the Ticket office is also located.  In there you will find all your official Lincoln City merchandise, from shirts and training gear to DVD's, books, pens and much more. 

It is open Monday - Friday 10am - 4pm** and on Saturdays  10am - 4pm, then for 30 minutes after full time (Saturday match day only)

**Please note: During home midweek fixtures, the shop will remain open until 7.45pm.


Each matchday there is a matchday magazine produced called ‘We Are Imps’, it’s packed full of interviews, features, club news, ticket news, a dedicated Junior Imps section and much more, priced at just £3.


Also supporters have the chance to win cash prizes in the 50/50 draw, the tickets are available for purchase outside the stadium at a number of sales points, also there is a prize raffle where supporters have the opportunity to win some fantastic prizes such as signed shirts, prints and more (subject to availability)

The University of Lincoln fanzone and Family fanzone is open from 12pm each Saturday matchday (3pm kick off) and it’s full of activities, food and much more. Home and away fans are welcome, it all takes place behind the Bridge McFarland Stand. (Keep an eye on the club website for any new activities or food options as new ones are added for various matchdays.)

Our friendly and welcoming Supporter Liaison Officers will be located around the stadium and in the fanzone should you have any queries, alternatively you can email before the day of the game. 

Matchday Timeline

12.00 - All bars and matchday restaurants open, University of Lincoln Fanzone open.

12.30 – Live football on in our bars

13.30 – Stadium Opens

14.00 – Former Players Association with special guests in the Uni of Lincoln Fanzone

14.15 – Teams announced in the Uni of Lincoln Fanzone

15.00 – Match kicks off.


Each stand has refreshment kiosks, selling a range of hot and cold drinks, food and snack items.  Varying options range from water to alcoholic beverages, pies to burgers and various chocolate confectionary. Also in the University of Lincoln Fanzone area, there will also be options available from local sources, which we will announce on the club website and social media ahead of matchday.

However, please note there are no cash machines located in the stadium. The nearest cash machine is located at the convenience store on Lincoln High Street (LN5 8HX)
