Lincoln City Football Club

Lincoln City Foundation are represented on the board of the football club by Sunil.

Sunil, who is chair of the Foundation's trustees, has been a practising GP at Portland Street Medical Practice in the Sincil Bank area since 1991 and brings a wealth of management and executive experience to the role. He has board level experience at the highest level, initially as a clinical advisor and then as chief executive of the local commissioning group. This has given him more than 15 years of board level experience, including roles as an executive board member for the Out of Hours co-operative and chair of the Practice Based Commissioning group. Alongside this, he was an integral founder member and subsequently chair of a federation of GP practices in Lincolnshire called Optimus.

Other senior management positions have included executive member of the Lincolnshire Sustainability and Transformation Plan and senior officer roles in the Integrated Community Care and General Practice Forward View programs.

Sunil's current executive commitments include roles as the clinical director of the Marina Primary Care Network in Lincoln and chair of the Primary Care Network Alliance, which is a county-wide group representing all Lincolnshire general practices.
