A product of the Blackburn Rovers youth academy, Remy joined in the Imps in September 2020 following a successful trial period with the club.
Howarth had previously gained experience with non-league sides Bamber Bridge, Skelmersdale United and Ashton United before moving to Wales where he signed for Cefn Druds.
A qualified personal trainer, Remy made his debut for City in the Carabao Cup coming off the bench against Crewe in a 2-1 win.
