City completed the loan signing of Jack Diamond until the end of the season in August 2022.
The 23-year-old forward joined the Imps from Championship side Sunderland, where he progressed through the club’s youth system.
Diamond has made 42 appearances in all competitions for the Black Cats and has featured twice in their matchday squad this season - which included 90 minutes in the Carabao Cup against Sheffield Wednesday.
Diamond has also had two very successful loan spells at Harrogate Town, scoring 19 times for them in addition to the two he has netted for his parent club.
