In the summer of 2020, Freddie Draper joined the Imps as a first-year scholar from Sky Bet Championship side Derby County.
The young forward impressed for City in the 2020/21 FA Youth Cup, scoring a brace against Watford.
In July 2021, Draper signed his first professional deal with the club. Draper made his Imps first team debut in October 2021 against Sheffield Wednesday.
The forward joined Gainsborough Trinity on loan until the end of the season in February 2022.
Draper signed for Drogheda United on loan with Elicha Ahui at the start of 2023 as they both looked to continue their development.
On Friday 7 July Draper penned a new long-term contract with the Imps as well as signing for Sky Bet League Two side Walsall on a season-long loan.
